Who we are
Waymore Better Logic ("we", "us", "our") is the engineering arm of The Waymore Better Company, based in Canyon Lake, Texas. This policy covers waymorebetterlogic.co. The parent company's broader privacy policy — which covers the holding-company hub and sister-venture sites — lives at waymorebetter.co/privacy.html.
What we collect, and why
Information you give us directly
- Email address — when you reach out via projects@waymorebetter.co, security@waymorebetter.co, or any future contact form. Used to reply to you.
- Project details — whatever you share when describing what you're trying to build. Used to scope the engagement and decide if we're a fit.
Information we collect automatically
- Standard server logs — IP address, browser, page requested, timestamp. Retained for up to 90 days for security and abuse prevention.
- No analytics tracking pixels, no third-party advertising cookies, no behavioural profiling. If we ever add an analytics tool, we will name it here and explain why.
How we use the information
- To respond to inquiries you send us.
- To scope and discuss potential engagements.
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not use your information for behavioural advertising, profile-building, or sale.
Engagement work is governed separately
This privacy policy covers the marketing site only. Once an engagement starts, the contract and statement of work for that engagement govern how data is handled in the work product itself. If the engagement involves protected health information (PHI), regulated data, or any other sensitive category, the engagement contract will include a Business Associate Agreement or equivalent.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we use to operate the marketing site, listed by purpose:
- Email delivery: the provider hosting
@waymorebetter.comail (currently Cloudflare). They process inbound mail to deliver it to us. - Hosting: GitLab Pages and Cloudflare DNS deliver this site to your browser.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
How long we keep it
- Email correspondence: indefinitely, unless you ask us to delete it.
- Server logs: up to 90 days.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- See what personal information we have about you.
- Correct or update it.
- Delete it, subject to legal retention requirements.
Send any of these requests to projects@waymorebetter.co. We will respond within 30 days.
Children
This is a business-to-business marketing site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users in the event of a confirmed breach as required by applicable law. Responsible-disclosure reports are welcome at security@waymorebetter.co.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a material way, we will post an updated version with a new "last updated" date.
